In a world where everything can be bought, sold, cataloged, faked, digitized, and measured, art stands apart. The skills, techniques, and ideas that fuel creativity possess a romantic power rooted in their authenticity. You cannot fake talent—and especially not discipline.

We live in a time shaped by the revolution of social media, where a simple swipe of the thumb grants us access to an endless stream of information and experiences—a concept that would have been unimaginable just 20 years ago. Yet, much of the content flooding these platforms is often trivial, and at worst, toxic—not only in its substance but also in its visual presentation, which tends to be either EXTREMELY ARTIFICIAL or excessively poor, hiding in both cases a clear lack of meaning and originality.

DOGMA85 is a clear homage to the Danish movement DOGME 95, which rejected any form of non-essential production and embraced the essence of cinema. In a world where superficiality and emptiness have reached new heights, thanks to the digital revolution, I believe these ideas are more important than ever for filmmaking.

All original content from the studio is released for free on YouTube, breaking down barriers of accessibility and inclusivity, and reaching audiences everywhere ANY TIME.

DOGMA85 is not just a studio for me but a lifelong art project, inspired by the stories of individuals who have chosen to follow their passions, even when it means taking the harder path. These are people who have pursued their calling dogmatically—with little assurance of where it might lead, but with unwavering dedication.
